St Nicholas’s arrival in Hooge Mierde.
Will you be coming along to welcome Sinterklaas too?
Sinterklaas is coming to Hooge Mierde again this year; he’ll arrive at 9.30 and stay until 12.30.
At 10.30 am, the Sirena Drum Band and Harmony Band will set off from Myrthaplein to join all children up to primary school age, their parents and other interested members of the public in a festive procession to welcome St Nicholas in St Cornelisstraat.
We’ll then head via Leendestraat, Averbodelaan, Rispenstraat and Schoolstraat to ‘ Mfa De Schakel’, where we’ll spend a lovely morning with Sinterklaas.
In the event of bad weather, St Nicholas will come straight to De Schakel, where parents and children are expected to gather.
