Maize maze
Fancy a fun family day out in the summer? The maze is open every year from mid-July until the second week of September!
For years now, we’ve been putting quite a bit of time and energy into creating a fun treasure hunt through our maize maze. Every year, we come up with a new theme.
We ask for a small fee to enter the maze, and the proceeds go towards the petting farm.

Barefoot Trail
A great activity to do with your (grand)children. The trail is 1.5 km long and features 10 challenges on various natural surfaces. The trail is signposted and largely follows the route of the fitness trail. Maps are available at De Spartelvijver and Krèk Wak Wou on the Weeldsedijk in Hooge Mierde. You can also buy small rucksacks there for €2 to put your shoes in. Please note that there are no lockers or foot showers. Barefoot trail

Experience Loei Lekker Ice Cream!
At Fabor Ice Cream Farm, you’ll find a delicious local product, traditionally made from fresh milk from their own cows. Fabor ’s sunny farm terrace is the perfect spot to relax for a while during a walk or cycle ride.

The Children’s Farm
de Hollandershoeve ’s petting farm has it all! Here, Balou the pony and her donkey friends graze in the meadow, you’ll see little goats climbing trees and you can cuddle the bunnies. The sheep and alpacas will also come over for a curious look whenever you walk past. Discover the pond with its various ducks and meadow birds, or watch the deer – they’ll stay at a safe distance from you, otherwise they’ll run away very fast.

This child-friendly family restaurant is situated in the beautiful countryside around Reusel. They serve delicious lunch and main courses, traditional pancakes (over 80 varieties), and have become famous for their homemade spare ribs! What makes this restaurant unique is its lovely, spacious petting farm with a walk-in paddock, adjacent to the terrace and the natural playground.
