We’ve become so terrified of even a scratch on our souls that we’ve put life on ice as a precaution, so that at least we can be buried later in perfect health and completely untouched.
Thijs is normally the epitome of kindness, but recently even he reached the proverbial breaking point. He was on the verge of taking the law into his own hands — which, with his two left hands, was a rather hopeless mission anyway. In a hilarious and moving way, he shares his frustrations about a world in which protocols are more important than people. With his masterful timing and down-to-earth Twente humour, he provides a liberating laugh, but also makes you think whilst you’re laughing: how do we ensure we aren’t actually pushed over the edge?
