Blue Ticks Poeha

Last season, Blauwe Vinkjes took Dutch theatres by storm with their debut show. As fresh-faced, uninhibited self-taught performers, Kevin van den Berg and Manon Blaauw took the plunge into the world of cabaret, learnt to swim as they went along, and have stayed afloat ever since. And how! The cabaret duo performed a record number of shows and managed to win over an enthusiastic audience.
Director Ruut Weissman describes their style as ‘a traditional form of theatre in the spirit of our times’. In 2025–2026, Manon and Kevin will present their second theatre show, in which they once again put their own spin on a revue-style theatre format with a contemporary vision and form.
In ‘Poeha’, Blauwe Vinkjes seize the opportunity to become even more personal. Without hesitation, they hit a nerve with everyone and mercilessly poke fun at everyday fuss. In their characteristic style, they exaggerate, mirror and twist recognisable situations. From consent to content and from opera to amusement parks; anything goes and nothing is left untouched. Expect an evening full of electrifying and hilarious sketches, colourful characters, catchy songs and everything skilfully interwoven with current affairs.
Blauwe Vinkjes were finalists at the Cameretten cabaret festival in 2021 and took home the Audience Award at the Amsterdam Student Cabaret Festival that same year.
