In Esbeek, within the Lage Mierd area, stands the ‘ Flaestoren’, an impressive tower offering stunning views over the nature reserve where only animals are welcome. At 22 metres high, it is a striking landmark in the area. The tower stands on de Flaes, a vast nature reserve known for its diversity of flora and fauna. It is therefore no surprise that the Flaestoren is a popular destination for nature lovers and walkers. From the top of the tower, you have a breathtaking panoramic view of the surrounding landscape. You can even see as far as Belgium.
