de Buitenman inn is situated south of Tilburg and just north of the village of Lage Mierde. There’s plenty to see on this easy walk through nature, art and culture. You’ll first walk along grassy paths and woodland trails to the viewing tower, where you’ll have a magnificent view of the beautiful De Flaes lake. You’ll then stroll through the woods alongside the Reusel stream and walk through the Midden Brabant golf course, where you can take a break at the Klein Utrecht Forest Restaurant. You’ll walk through Andreaspark past the Brandtoren and the sculpture ‘Ontmoeting met de meester’ (Encounter with the Master). You’ll then pass the lovely Broekeling lake, featuring the artwork ‘Baadster in Broekeling’ (three women bathing). Follow the woodland paths to the Klein Utrecht Natural Burial Ground and walk back to the inn along a lovely grassy path beside the Reusel . TIP: You can also start at Boshuys Klein Utrecht and then enjoy a break at de Buitenman inn. Please note: Bring one euro coin per person to climb the viewing tower.
